A. Tour of the region with lunch at the Sugar Shack

Enjoy a magnificent tour through the countryside of Québec. The visits begin with a stop at the bottom of the Montmorency waterfall, which is even higher than Niagara Falls. Admire the scenery from every angle as you ride the gondola to the Montmorency Manor, located at the top of the fall and enjoy the breathtaking view of the fall, the Saint-Lawrence River and the Orleans Island.

The bus will then make its way towards the Orleans Island in time for lunch at the sugar shack. In spring, it remains a family tradition in Québec. To discover this tradition, we invite you to L’En-Tailleur, located only 20 minutes away from Québec. Upon arrival at the maple grove, you will be invited to a guided visit of the installations. An authentic Quebecers meal will be served while a folk group joins the party. Finish with a sweet touch and taste some maple taffy on snow.

Then, head towards Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, the region where the early pioneers of New-France settled down at the beginning of the 17th Century. See original stone houses built at the edge of Chemin Royal and find out how people lived behind these walls.

B. Whale Watching and lunch Excursion on the Saint Lawrence River

The tour begins as we leave the hotel for our destination, the village of Tadoussac (an Indian word meaning Dog House). Discover the splendid countryside of Charlevoix. This region has become very popular over the years because of the whales living in the area where the Saguenay and the Saint Lawrence River merge. Admire these huge and magnificent mammals aboard a boat.  A great way to see the whales up close!

Bring along your cameras and experience the thrill of a fascinating encounter with these giant nomads.
